Flood Relief Mission

KL Tower, in association with Radio24, presented aid and carried out community activities in Kampung Semangat, near Kuantan, Pahang on 13 January 2008.

Kampung Semangat was one of the areas in Pahang that was devastated by the flood. KL Tower and Radio24 presented aid worth RM20,000, donated by the public, to the villagers.

About 70 volunteers from Kuala Lumpur went there to help by cleaning up the village, repairing damaged houses and carrying out community and children’s activities. This was Radio24’s first Community Programme held outside of Kuala Lumpur. Radio24 aims to create a caring society through its Community Programmes.
